Position Purpose
The Product Certification Technician reports to the Product Certification Manager and is responsible for certifying products according to industry standards specific to a product category and/or equivalent current regulations.
Responsibilities
- Study and apply standards to products
- Conduct pre-compliance tests
- Plan and assist with laboratory tests
- Critically analyze tests based on the product to be certified
- Prepare technical documentation for certification bodies
- Manage incoming/outgoing RoHS/REACH compliance documentation/declarations
- Study CEE/ExtraCEE standards and their applicability to products
- Collect and manage technical files
Requirements
- Good command of English
- Degree in electronic engineering or equivalent, or a technical diploma in industrial engineering
- Experience in CE testing of electronic equipment • Knowledge of European EMC/RED regulations
- Preferable experience in one or more of these fields: naval, automotive, industrial, residential
