Position Purpose
The Mechanical Development Engineer works with the R&D Hardware team, focusing on mechanical design, researching and integrating electromechanical components, and engineering the device assembly process.
Key Responsibilities
- Design mechanical, polymer, and metal parts
- Select and integrate electromechanical devices
- Generate the Bill of Materials (BOM)
- Coordinate with hardware developers for complete project development
- Conduct testing and validation on designed components
- Engineer assembly processes
- Communicate with suppliers both domestically and internationally
- Continuously improve existing projects
- Have 2 to 5 years of experience in the role
Required Skills and Knowledge
- Excellent understanding of precision mechanical processing and plastic deformation technologies
- Proficient in design software: SolidWorks and AutoCAD
- Good command of the English language
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering (preferred) or Technical Mechanical Diploma
